From the very early days of my studies, I have enjoyed teaching and discussing what I was learning. During my PhD in Physics, I began tutoring. The idea for this company can be traced back to those formative experiences.
I was extremely fortunate to work with students who didn’t want to learn in the usual way. They possessed a genuine wonder for learning. Each week, we would begin our sessions with a question:
- Why do we believe everything is made of atoms?
- Why doesn’t the Earth collide with the Sun?
- How do our bodies know when to stop growing?
And in exploring these questions, universes within universes would unfold. Learning should be holistic—embracing all subjects, from the arts to the sciences, from mathematics to biology.
I founded this company to do just that. The tutors we employ are also experts in their own right, and have the same passion to teach and simplify complex ideas. Many of our tutors are passionately pursuing careers in STEM whilst tutoring and coaching.
We believe that true mastery of any subject comes from deep, experiential learning—where students connect with the material on a personal level, gaining profound insights and developing a lifelong passion for learning.
