• When: choose Mon 26 or Thu 29 Oct 2026 (pick your date above the Book button), 10:00–11:30am
• Where: live online via Zoom
• Who: Year 10 and Year 11 students (GCSE)
• Class size: maximum 10 students
• Price: £20 per student

How the session runs

• 5 min — Introduction: the goal for the session and a first go at the question type
• 15 min — The examiner’s view: what gets marks, what loses them, and one clear method to use
• 15 min — Worked examples, step by step, then one together
• 45 min — Students practise on past exam questions, self-marked against the real mark scheme, with feedback as they work
• 10 min — Questions, plus a take-home summary sheet

Booking

At checkout, please add in the order notes:

• your child’s name
• school year
• exam board (AQA, Edexcel or OCR)
• whether they’ll join on a tablet with a stylus

The Zoom joining link and a short prep note are emailed the day before.

A tablet with a stylus is ideal, so students can write their working on screen. If that isn’t possible, please let us know in advance and we’ll plan around it. Students also need paper, a pen and a calculator.

Good to know

• A parent or carer books and receives all emails. Sessions are not recorded; cameras on is encouraged so the tutor can see students’ working.
• Each class runs with at least 4 students. If a date doesn’t fill, you can move to another date or have a full refund.
• Cancellations: Full refund within 14 days of booking (before the session), or up to 48 hours before the session. Less notice: no refund, but we’ll move you to another date if there’s space. Read the full refund policy.
